Hello,
My name is Jason McKenzie. I play drum set, tabla, and other assorted percussion. I play and compose for the world music band Atash out of Austin, TX.
I also tour with Texas songwriting legend, Billy Joe Shaver.
I produce and perform world music-inspired electronic tracks as well under the name "Sunray Project". Each show features a different world music artist every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 10pm to midnight at Copa in Austin. See you there!
